13 - Advice

"What good did you ever think would come from biting Reece?!" I shouted, Blaise sighing at me.

"I got caught in the moment."

"What moment?"

"Look, I was just trying to find out if he liked you at all, he didn't stop me from kissing him, he seemed to enjoy it so I'd say he'd go for you."

"So you come here and try to get with the guy I find attractive after sleeping with me? you really haven't changed."

"I didn't sleep with him, or anyone in the past three years as a matter of fact." I stared at Blaise, watching him sit up from the bed, "What?"

"So since you left me you haven't slept with anyone?"

"Last night was the first time I'd had sex in weeks, months, years. I couldn't, I kept thinking of you even though we were bad together. I tried breaking out of my mindset but it hurt too much because I love you. I may have fooled around with other guys when we were together but not once did I sleep with anyone else."

I continued to stare at Blaise, his brows furrowed and a frown on his lips. He loved me. He hadn't been with anyone in the three years we'd been apart because he loved me. I shook my head, trying to move to a different subject.

"You shouldn't have fed on Reece."

"I was hungry."

"You should have woken me."

"I guess I should've."

We sat there in silence for a while, Blaise lying down on the bed as I sat next to him.

"Why did you come back Blaise?"

"To help Lucine."

"Right."

I looked down at him, his eyes focused on the ceiling and his face unreadable.

"How much do you like Reece?" He spoke up as I looked away, staring at the door.

"I dunno, I've only known him a short while but I think he's nice and fun to be with."

"And he's cute."

"Well, yeah, there is that too." I laughed, Blaise sitting up again.

"So go for it."

"What?"

"Ask him out, date him, it'll make you happy."

"You sure? I mean, we were pretty great together."

"We were terrible together, we brought out the worst in each other. I killed more people when we were together than I have done throughout the rest of my life, so go."

"But he doesn't even like guys."

"Untrue. Now go."

"Fine."

Blaise smiled at me, leaning over and kissing my cheek before standing and leaving the room. I sighed to myself, lying down on the bed and sliding my hands under my head. 'Ask him out, date him' because it's that simple when I know he'll probably reject me and even if he doesn't there's still the problem of his overprotective brother. I could swear I'd seen his brother before though the pieces weren't adding up, maybe it was-
I sat up quickly as the door creaked open, expecting Blaise to come in nagging me about going to ask Reece out only to see Reece's brother.

"May I come in?" He asked, his smile surprisingly calming as he stood just outside the room.

"Sure." I replied, wondering what the hell was going on as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him and locking it with a small key.

"We need to talk." He smiled at me, standing between me and the locked door.
